A pioneer in biomedical imaging technology, Singh joined USC's Department of Radiology in 1977 and was jointly appointed in Biomedical Engineering in 1988.

The Biomedical Engineering Department congratulates Professor Michael C.K. Khoo on his recent induction as an IEEE fellow by the Board of Directors of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Inc. (IEEE). IEEE Fellow is a distinction reserved for select IEEE members whose extraordinary accomplishments in any of the IEEE fields of interest are deemed fitting of this prestigious grade elevation.
